The multiplayer is actaully good. It brings back memories of BF2.
The most disappointing thing that ive found so far is that the server browser is web based! When you click on your BF3 shortcut it actially loads your webbrowser and then you have to choose between Multiplayer, CoOp or Campaign.
Im not sure why they havent built it into the game, because I find that Firefox is very resource hungry and when running Task Manager mid game, i find that its user over 200k of CPU. When the game is taking about 800k.
The webpage also requires GameManager plugins to be installed these just look like they send the server info that you want to the game.
Talking about resource hungry. My laptop gets really hot when running the game, after about 30 mintues I had to get a coushion to rest it on because my legs were burning.
Origin, might aswell not be there because the onyl thing I use it for is to load the BF3 server browser mentioned above, which I can actually just create a bookmark for. Ive also linked BF3 to Steam so I can still chat ingame.
The customize a class is a big annoying. So far ive only found a way of editing your class mid-game, meaning I miss precious minutes of playing time. It doesnt make too much of a difference as I spent over 1hour on one map last night calling it my last round before I went to bed xD (hoping it would be over in about 10 minutes .. lol)
Snipers are underpowered (that is the newb ones). About 5 unaccurate hits to take someone down.
All "baddys" weapons seem to be a variation of an AK. AK47 AK74 AK74M etc etc
Aircraft are going to take a while to get used to. Need bigger mousepad or joystick because your continuously moving your mouse around to monovur the plane.
I will add more as I progress
