Banned User Koins to Lottery

So, I got this idea after the new koin change.
It's a small idea but I like to think it's worth it.

This idea is that whenever a user gets permanently banned, all their koins should be submitted to the lottery for a bigger pot.
The koins will not go to waste if this was implemented.

Now comes the issue of, what if a user eventually fills a pardon request and gets accepted?
Well, my answer to this would simply be that if the user has done something to get him/herself banned in the first place, then that user faces consequences (such as ban and koin loss).
This wouldn't apply to temporarily banned users.

So, any thoughts?
 
I support this. The lottery has been dull lately, so this would help spice it up!

Yea i like this idea but it would happen when a user got banned ? or like all at once like if all koins were put in now from banned users thats easy like 100k plus
 
There would be no point to this as every post you make gives you +10 koins, and for every thread created you get +20. Just be a little more active thought the forums and you will supply enough koins to throw around.
 
There's no option to do this. Lottery is automated plugin and puts a specified amount from AdminCP into the draw. If you have to calculate every banned member's koins and add it to the draw, the same amount will keep repeating in every lottery. So, not the best idea.
 
@"Fresh", I would suggest doing it as users got banned for it to be easier and not lose track of things.
@"Poison", this wasn't the point I was trying to make. This suggestion is to simply spice up the lottery and give more funds for the winner.
After all, koins of banned users just sit there and could be used for something else.
@"Jimmy", valid point and if this is so, then scrap this idea.
 
The only problem I have with this is that when members are banned their koins are out of the system which slightly increases the value of koins since there is less of them out in circulation.

I just said how it works. Just from technical view.
 
This is a great idea, I wish it was possible.
 
This would be hard af for someone to code, and I doubt @Philly would put the money into it.
Also, it's funny how @jimmy get's banned after this thread
 
There would be a way to go around it but would require work and is something I think that only Philly can do.
This being using the banned users accounts to submit koins to the lottery or however that would work.
 
This would be a pretty cool idea, nice thinking @"Profanity"!

I'd have to go with what he said. Every time Koins go OUT of the system, it indeed does increase value.
 
You'd need to make a plugin that would edit the New Points lottery plugin. Wouldn't be THAT hard, all you have to do is a simple (pseudo code): "if user is banned for: "permanent" then send koins to lottery"
