Do people actually buy banned gamertags though?

Yes people do purchase banned gamertags and this is a very nice one.

Banned tags used to be fun to have, you could message people, add friends, change bio, etc. Now banned tags are useless, you can't recover them or anything.

Thanks for the reply, the reason why i asked is because ive bin seeing alot of people selling banned tags and people are buying them now for what i do not have the answer too.

They're hoping some day Microsoft will unban them in some way shape or form.
