I Have a very decent computer but Steam still lags? why & help?

Decent doesn't cut it nowadays. The program lag or the games running through steam? If its the games still are ways of helping the lag, Close all other processes, pick lower graphic setting. If its the program there isn't much you can do.

May sound silly but try Restarting your computer.
