badges mean nothing now

Ill be a 2 year member in december. decided to come back on the other day and theres literally new members everywhere with aout 20 badges and in about 5 different user groups?? Wtf badges used to have meaning on here, although I guess the more you 'donate' the more you get.. Jesus I dunno its just so fucking stupid
 
I have to agree with you here. A load of new members are getting a lot. I've been a member since July so i've been here before quite a lot people I can name.
 
I have to agree, used to be alot harder and more special when you got a badge or in a user group.

But when I joined there was only two user groups.

I just clicked on a random thread and theres a guy called 'Shoe' who joined this month and has 300+ posts and 2 badges? WTF its fucking retarded... Im not one to care for badges, if I earn 1 fair enough thats cool but cmon at least keep them for good, reliable and trusted members.
 
I remember in August when I joined I thought the award system was so cool but now it's just retarded that all of the OG award owners sold the ownership of there award and now the awards are stupid things like cats and unicorns.

Anyways, I've joined in December and got like 700+ posts, I'm not really 'spamming' but I am like 'active' in a way.

fucking stupid beyond words... I also remember you Tupac at least your sticking around most of the old decent members have woke up and left before they 'donate' any more of their hard earner cash

I agree. You can basically pay your way here. You can get into ANY group here (except the invitational only ones) for a price. It's like applications mean nothing anymore. A high-quality user can make a high-quality application and get denied/accepted, but then they learn that they have to pay just to get into a group.
 
There are some userbars that have meaning, but almost every group on here, you can just pay to get in. My group is one of them.

Still, the group owner can do whatever they want with their group. They paid for it.
