I am suggesting this idea because Christy and Philly are always busy with the site and managing and when they're not on..

The idea is to give about 2 people on ForumKorner the ability to hand out awards to people because it looks tiring for Christy to read that huge thread about awards..

Two trusted active members that are usually on every day and wouldn't disobey the rules.

I know this is possible because on MinecraftGeeks site he has it so a him and another user that is not Admin both hand out awards.

I think this would be a great idea because Christy's thread is getting out of hand and personally if I would have to go through all those pages to hand out awards that would be a pain in the ass...

So two people that would step up and do it and give Admins a break!

Unless there's a plug-in, or a setting on the current plug-in, for users with certain permissions to hand out awards, these users would need access to the ACP either way, so it couldn't be just any other user.

Of course, someone could be granted very limited ACP access to do this task (E.g. A current staff member, like Jimmy) .

i think this is a good idea. that thread is huge and would be a pain in the ass.
 
We're already on top of this, No need to worry.
 
Us staff have been discussing this and one should be on the way I hope.
 
Oh Okay I hope because people have been posting what awards they need and it's been like 2 weeks or so.

But it's a pain in the ass for Admins I bet.
 
Myself, Uzi & the Admins had discussed it some time back. For the moment, only Admins can. I had partial access to ACP for a purpose. But for the moment, it's just the Admins.
 
Yeah I really think they should take this into consideration...
 
With myBB, you have to be an administrator to hand out awards, it's in the admin panel.
 
Well Philly could put certain restrictions on it because I know on NerdChat there's a user that is Mod and he can hand out awards.
 
ModCP can be tweaked to hand Awards. It's creator, Jesse Labrocca will include the feature in future versions. And we can't allow just anyone to use our Control Panel.

I agree Jimmy. The right person has to be picked and well trusted.

Im not sure i have gained enough yet. But if there is a spot im willing and ready to do the Job.
 
I would be fine with Superman and Jimmy doing this, they're both staff and trusted.
