astro a40 problem?

For those who have astro a40's do your friends ever complain that your are very low, or is it just my mic?
 
My friend has a pair and I can hear him just fine. Might just be your mic.
 
nope I can hear him perfectly when he talks.
 
Can't you adjust your voice volume? Because you can with turtle beach's. You also can adjust voice volume in your xbox preferences. Perhaps he just has his turned down on his headset or on his xbox. Or you have it turned down on your headset.

No i hear just fine. My friends are the ones that cant hear me very well. They always tease about how i wasted 300 for nothing-.- i like literally have to talk loud in order for them to here me well

I would send them in and get a new pair or contact their support than. Cause its probably the headset than. Also Idk why you got astros turtlebeachs work the same look just as cool, and are 3 times cheaper.

DOnt know either haha. Yea i sent them another email. They never replied to my first...
 
If people are saying that they cant hear you.

go into voice message and record your voice, if you cannot hear yourself or the voice is really faint, the cable from the mixamp to the controller is broken. Contact Asttro and they can give you a new one. I've gotten about 5 new ones.

People tell me to repeat things a lot. Plus now I have a problem where music/games etc have deformed sounds as if the things that should sound louder are lower, and lower is louder.

lol, so much for MLG right? my next set are most likely going to be tb's but im not too sure tbh.
