Are any of you guys buying Assassin's Creed III, and if so what do you think about it?
I personally think Ubisoft Montreal has improved the Assassin's Creed series leaps and bounds since the first game and Assassin's Creed 3 doesn't look like it will disappoint. I myself am buying the Limited Edition.
I've preordered AC3 Collectors Edition for $110. I think it will be an excellent game, like the others. I cant wait to pick it up unbox it and play multiplayer!
I think it looks great, but with the release of Halo 4, I doubt I will be buying it on release day nor will I buy it after, I will most likely buy it months after release.
Well as I see it Revelations and Brotherhood were both just fillers, or add-ons to Assassin's Creed II, but since I am a big story guy I had to play Brotherhood and Revelations.
Though from what I've heard, watched and read about Assassin's Creed III the game will be much long than Revelations. Most likely because it has to finish the story of Desmond and starts (and?) ends the story of Connor.
So I'd say just because you didn't like Revelations doesn't mean you shouldn't check out III, it's supposed to be a much different and smoother game.

I was going to pre-order both Assassin's Creed III and Halo 4 but decided to pre-order Black Ops 2: Hardened Edition over Halo 4. This is simply for the reason that 343 Industries basically ruined the whole Halo: Reach experience for me after taking over (they took out Action Sack for example) so I'm not too sure about a full game from 343 Industries.
I cannot wait for it to come out. It's the same team that made AC2, and not brotherhood and Revelations from what I understand. AC2 was my favorite of them all. It was longer, and much more fun to me. I loved the chart they had on it. I will get it right after it comes out for sure, hopefully I have enough to buy it the first day

All Assassin's Creed games (excluding the mobile/handheld ones) were developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Some other Ubisoft Headquarters helped Ubisoft Montreal with Brotherhood and Revelations. Two headquarters are helping Ubisoft Montreal with Assassin's Creed III which are Ubisoft Singapore which are going the naval gameplay aspect, and Ubisoft Annecy are doing the multiplayer.
