Are there any popular places to get more notice to your programs?

Im looking at trying to get more popularity to my programs but dont know how i should go about doing it. anyone know any ways to improve popularity fast?
 
Try XboxMB, TTG, or Se7ensins. Those are the best sites and they have a lot of members.
 
Try going to HackForums. They have a good programming community there.

Now probably look to a cheap advertising solution once i release my next program update, didnt get much notice from forums
