Are strip clubs profitable?

Well,

I was playing some GTA 5.
And I was wondering if strip clubs are profitable enough to start up multiple buildings after a while?
Or lets say a year?

I am just wondering this.

I don't think this is the best place to ask.
 
You take a percentage of the girls earnings,you sell booze and provide entertainment.Should be profitable.
 
I'm not sure if many people here would be able to give you an accurate answer on that. Personally, I'd presume that they must be profitable, if they aren't there wouldn't really be any in existence. There would also be many leading factors that would determine the success rate, and that goes for any place, some of which being quality, location, and service along with the price say for beverages. Overall, I'd say that if the owner of the club is relatively smart, they could make a pretty good profit, as for an accurate amount I'm not really able to provide that as I've never paid much attention to them at all.
