I personally am black and when I walk up to white people, or other lighter races, they are sometimes provoked by me.

As if I'm going to fight them or hurt them.

Is it true that black people are sort of intimidating sometimes.

Give me your honest opinion, no racism please.

No lol. Now if you're alone and theres a group of ANY minority you'd naturally be pre cautious. People are just phags.

That's a personal opinion/reference. I might think they are, the guy next to me might think they are nicer than white people.

What kind of thread is this? Just because someone is colored doesn't mean they are scary. lol.

I know some white people that are actually scared of black people. That's why I'm asking.

And those people are nearly incapable of logical thought, relying entirely upon emotion and cultural biases (that, for the most part, are accurate to some degree) to come to a conclusion about someone upon first meeting/seeing them. Its the way the human mind works.

yeah there are some pretty ignorant people in the world

I'm black myself and I'm in no way intimidating nor do I try to be.

Some people take black stereotypes too seriously. It has more to do with appearance and behavior of the stereotype to give inclination and suspicion, therefore set off the trail to intimidation, than independently being just black.

All races (even Asians) can be scary. You might perceive it as being racist because you're black but it really isn't.
