Today I was interested in merging a few more forums with Rune Gear. Upon finding a seller, I purchase it and merge with Rune Gear, only to find that the content is pre-dated and basically useless, with over 850 threads of useless content. I junked them all, and had then unjunked them and moved them to the Personal Gain's forum. I had received approximately 2,300 posts alone from that.
Then, I had decided to clean out the trash forum itself, and found about 200 valid threads that had useful content. I've spent literally the whole day when I was online cleaning out the trash forum.
In the morning we had approximately 1.1k threads in the Trash section with 12k posts, we now have 400 threads with around 5.6k posts. I believe I've done pretty good in cleaning the forum and am still checking it out to find some useful content. I moved about 500 threads and deleted about 200 permanently. So we lost about 700 useless posts which clears up the database and the statistics.
It's very difficult to clean that forum up since every thread requires a title change.
In other news, we've hit 50,000 posts.
