As time goes on, users are more exposed to macroing on RuneScape. Sadly, we're not a macroing forum, and even those are starting to decline in activity (unless discussing/supporting for a specific client/bot). I've had to make the tough decision of changing the path Rune Gear is taking due to an unforeseeable issue occuring in the game. This is a defence mechanism as well, since it protects our chance of success considering if RuneScape fails or begins to decline, the forum will still continue growing.
Well, to continue on the main point of this, we will be expanding in major discussions on this forum, serving for other consoles, platforms, games and more. We will still have major discussion about RuneScape, but now we cater for more games. This opens many opportunities for Rune Gear, or whatever we will be named after this expansion. We will have a massive influx of members, considering my investment of over $500 into promoting this forum alone.
There are countless updates coming due to this, users won't believe what will be implemented into the forum. What users will be able to utilise and access on this forum will be comparable to some of the top gaming websites on the planet. We will be implementing an immense social feature which almost everyone will love, and if they don't, they can disable it. We will have new profiles, we will have a new design, we will have user-galleries (not as simple as it sounds, and more useful than it sounds). We will have video and article blogs, we will have massive tutorials, we will have calculators, we will have resources and so much more. I can't do this alone though. I need the support of members, and at this moment, this is the time when Rune Gear needs as much of the donations it can get. I'm pitching in around $750 of my own, and two other users have promised a sufficient amount of donations. If you want to secure Rune Gears immense expansion, I request sincerely of you to pitch in whatever you can, if you can. With the money raised, we will be able to develop the website to it's utmost potential, and create a massive promotional campaign. I've already began a list of where to promote and how to promote, and discovered that $500 has the potential of getting us at least 2,500 new members, and most likely more than that.
