I'm sick of everything happening where members are complaining about warnings about reputation and Moderators having to enforce stupid rules. So here we are, and today everything changes. You can now ask for reputation. Go, ask for it when you give away money, services, trades, anything. Doesn't mean you'll get it. You may get negative reputation for only doing it for reputation.

I don't want Staff to have to worry about stupid reputation rules. Reputation does NOT make you trusted or more legitimate, it just shows what the members think of you.

Hmm. Not sure how I fell about this.

Warning to all members :: If I personally see you asking for rep for giving something away, I am going to give you a neutral or -1.

That's your opinion, so you are entitled to it.

Good idea, Reputation is your REPUTATION on the forum, not your TRUST.

I don't like it whenever people ask for rep, because then they think they have something to pull you with, if you want it.
But, it's all good.
Hopefully it turns out for the better.

Although I disagree with this new rule, I shall abide by it, lol.

Anyone who asks me for rep, shouldn't expect anything.

i know for sure ill be neg repping (mabey) anyone who asks for rep. unless i legitimately think 100% they deserve it.

You can have your own rules. If you don't like people asking for rep don't rep them.

i half disagree. yes, some reputation is just pointless "oh hey" but some is because they ARE trusted and that's just to show that the trade went smoothly. i myself tend to trust people who have 3+ people who rep them for good trades, but that's just me

This is why scams occur. You should only trust someone by their vouch tread and the number of scam reports against them.
