I think we should sell the money, and put the IRL money towards the forum

Anyways, I didn't join this forum for contests or beer or whatever you could possibly think is a stupid reason to join this place, I joined this forum because one day, I looked into the future of life and found that the heart and soul is in the future of the world inside a small little place called runegear. Btw, I be trollin, but anyways... I love this site, and feel free to reply if you agree, I'm srry if this post got off-topic/out of hand, but too many spammers out there, if we are going to have contests like this in the future, I think that moderators, ex: @"Life" and @"Steezy" and @"CrystuL", ECT should check post quality, and maybe should have to enter the contest instead of making it forum-wide, moderators could check the appliers

He's saying that because the top 2 people in the contest are part of the group Angels and that neither of them truly individually deserve it, maybe it should be re-invested into their group.

@"Jonathon" I can believe that as to what @"wale" is saying. Sometimes beating the person on the other side of you is more important than the prize itself. The prize money motivates you in the beginning but the competition motivates you in the end.

I can't say that I didn't see all of this coming.
I say put the prize money in the Official RG Gold shop. That way it really gives back to the whole community.

The angels don't deserve the money, it SHOULD NOT be given to them. Just re-invest the money into the forum.

That's true, but a whole group shouldn't be based on what 2 members do.

There should be some consequences though.

Only reason people are getting butthurt is because other people are spamming. Nothing really wrong with that at all if they're having conversations with other people, and after all it makes the forum grow some what. That's just my opinion.

But then again there are those who spam stupidity. I didn't really see any of that after the first day or so. Wale and Crysis were posting legitimately and not so much on the low quality side so I don't know why they were punished the way they were.. You can't expect people not to camp the new posts thread when there is about $30/50m up for grabs.

People just take internet too seriously I think, which causes everything that has happened.

I hope in the future we can all just learn to have fun and have the contest again.

There post were LQ and barley on topic plus they reported each other for any little thing it was getting out of hand me and other staff members were getting tired of having to deal with these two constant low quality spammers bashing each other just to get a few points ahead of the contest. Have you notice how they stopped posting as soon as the contest was over. The contest was suppose to be funny for everyone instead wale and crysis ruined it for all of us.
