Well, I was asleep when I found out Rune Gear had crashed due to an increase in traffic. Rune Gears traffic seems to have almost doubled from a week ago according to our traffic stats. This is quite scary, as I didn't know that we are growing at such an intensive rate.

Either way, sorry for MySQL crashing, I wasn't aware while I was asleep. I'm implementing measures to protect the server if MySQL crashes by restarting it automatically.

A possible reason for the increase in traffic is because of the Multiple DDOS Attacks on the Server, the extensive amounts of IP's hitting the server is what probably caused it increase so much?

Just a thought.

If you're on a Shared Hosting Account - Check that the other users aren't abusing their SQL Rights.
I've had a lot of experience of it before (hence why I'm now on Dedicated Machines).
