Rune Gear has been subject to an extreme amount of attacks for the past 7 days. These attacks have not stopped, and have caused quite a large amount of bandwidth resource consumption and webhosting changes.

There is nothing I can do, except move to a dedicated server, or even a VPS Server. Due to running this website without the help of donations, I have no other measures of stopping the attacks. In about 3-5 days, Rune Gear will be moved from it's current host, we have no where else to host this website.

Without any funds, Rune Gear will be shut down or will be constantly attacked. Although, I have found a good service provider which can maintain the server. The price is costly though. We are in need of approximately $20 USD to cover the cost.

If you can donate, please contact me.

RE: Must Read

I would help out if I could, but I'm also pretty poor.
Especially since leaving behind some touchier things...

I'm sorry I can't be of more help.

RE: Must Read

Damn. I'm really sorry to hear that.

I use siteground.com - and It's a really good host. Take a look here: here. You can get awesome hosting for 9.95 for one year. ;)

Also, they have free trials for other stuff like semi dedicated hosting. You can do that for 30 days for free.

I would donate if I had money, but I have to keep my site up and running, too.

Good luck. :)

RE: Must Read

Donated a bit not much but i donated :D, Good to see the site back up though.

RE: Must Read

So, that would be like .80 cents a month, I would never use a host that is under $10 a MONTH, because if your paying such low prices that makes 100 others are, so it means the server will get overloaded sooner or later, or they will go under in a few months, so there goes your year's payment.. I don't sell any hosting cheaper than $10 a month, if you wanna do a good business, you would stick to my model. I found like 350 reviews for this company, I highly doubt they host over 350,000 sites, maybe 10 thousand, but 350k is a shit ton..

Also Renegader isn't give you a direct link to the company, he's giving you a referral url so if you signup at that link, he gets paid.. NICE TRY, NOT

Oh and watch out for this company look at these reviews..

They stole from me (Poor)

I signed up while the offer was all over the website for $3.95 per month. I decided to stay with them after 30 days, and they charged me 113% more that I believed to be accurate. When I did finally get through to billing I stated plainly my problem... read more ...

International Fees, Poor Service (Poor)
- by Tracy (lucitechinc.com) on 26 July 2010

Beware, this is not a Us company and when they take the money from your bank, there will be international transaction fees that make the cost a bit higher than advertised. Their technical support is horrible. They will Only speak to you through a... read more ...

Great initially but they sting you for loyalty (Poor)
- by sb (adrenaline-generation.com) on 21 June 2010

I've become increasingly disappointed with siteground the longer I have been with them. They were fine initially, but after the first 12 months, I was tricked into an autorenewal (presumably something I'd signed up to in the small print) at an extor... read more ...

RE: Must Read

Who has been attacking us anyway Elite? Anyway we could find them and stop them?

RE: Must Read

The Elite said:
We could mitigate the attack by firewalling them from the server, not allowing them to use our resources. Although, to do this, the most effective way would be to use a hosting company specialising in DDOS attacks.
What's the method that Hackforums uses when you refresh the site too much? Could that help?
