Just wanted to touch base with everyone and keep you updated on the latest happenings here at TFF.
July has been a rather busy month for me (work, family stuff, etc...). However, I still have a couple of updates to bring you about the site.
Points System
I'd like to introduce everyone to the TFF Points system. Now, everytime you post a thread, reply, or poll,you gain TFF Points. These points were introduced for a couple of reasons:
Why bother adding a Premium membership? Well as most of you know, we are currently using a free hosting provider and a domain donated by one of our generous members. The premium memberships will hopefully provide a means to purchase a quality paid hosting account. Once that is done, any monies remaining will be used for a few upgrades to the site, and then the rest will be used for cash prizes to our faithful members. So by purchasing a premium membership, you will actually be getting something back in return!
I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that still visits the site. I have big plans for this forum that will hopefully make it more active and fun for everyone involved. I can't divulge what those plans are at this moment, but it will surely be quite enjoyable to everyone that uses this forum.

- Use them to buy forum permissions in the TFF Store
I will be adding more permissions this week, so be sure to check back - Will be used for contests...coming very soon!
The points you earn on the forum will be used to "buy" an entry into various contests. Without enough points to purchase an entry, you will not be entered into the contest. So you have to get posting!!! - Will be used in the very near future to purchase premium membership (instead of using real money). Check the next section for more info regarding upgrading your account.
Premium Memberships
Now you can upgrade your forum account to "Premium (VIP) Status". What does this mean? Well for just 3.00 CAD a year, you will receive the following benefits.
* Access to VIP Forum-not viewable by regular members
* VIP contests to win a TFF Freebie pack- Mailed directly to your home free of charge
* Ability To Change Username
* No More Ads On The Site
* VIP Badge
* More benifits coming soon (Can't tell you now, it's a secret)
