I am introducing some new posting awards. Each award will have a minimum requirement of posts to have, and every-time you reach the next Milestone I will upgrade you Award to the one you qualify for.


Currently there will be:

Beginner Poster: 500Posts
Advance Poster: 1500Posts
Star Poster: 3000Posts
Elite Poster: 6000+ Posts



The posts made will have to be of decent quality and not spam. To receive this award you will have to Private Message me so I can check your posts and judge them.

You have a chance to receive this award once a week after you have applied for me to check your posts.

Good in theory, but you should just make it an automated function.
It involves too much work on your part otherwise.

If it was automatic... there would be spam everywhere.
+ I don't mind the work.

Not necessarily. You're introducing a posting award system. How it's awarded won't impact upon the end result. Spammers who spam to get the award will generally spam regardless, and then that's when you (or other admins/staff) should step in to evaluate such members/take action accordingly. It requires a lot less work and is much more efficient.
If this forum picks up again, even people who enjoy such work will either get fed up with it eventually or simply just not have enough time to 'thoroughly' evaluate members' posts.

Then if it "ever picks up" (Which I am determined to make happen) I will incorporate and automatic system.

This is a really great idea Mike, and guys remember to keep posting to gain one of these amazing awards!

I think it's a great idea, but I shared my opinion on the positives and the negatives.
