Anyways, this is pretty cool.

We need the section. Being HQ all day takes the life out of me.Chewbaka said:The Elite said:No, why would it be? Adding a trash talk section gives users a method to release some steam while having fun.
I don't know; I really don't think adding more drama is a good thing. I think a lot of people will start being more LQ outside of that section too.

The Elite said:If there's drama we can handle that, but I doubt there will be too much tbh. By giving them a place to vent, as well as us, less drama occurs in the normal sections.

Honestly, if I came to a forum and seen all of the most recent posts are "f*ck [Username]", it would be make me want to not be active. Why? Well, a way to gain rep on a forum is to start posting. You can't really post in the trash talk section since you really haven't been active long enough. So where do you post? That's also a problem. Rungear is lacking content. Since we are a community forums, we rely on our members to bring content. But going back to the trash talk section. It is kind of like rep. Though everyone says, "I don't care about rep", they really do. Someone can make a thread in the trash talk section attacking someone and that person may not like it. Why would we promote calling people out? No one likes to be slapped in the face in front of a big crowd. I seen so many people come through RG trying to be active only to be driven out by the community. Perfect example, excilez. Since we are a tight community, if you aren't accepted by us, then you are a outsider. That's not really encouraging for new members.
