[RAF]

I've lately been demotivated, not just about Rune Gear, real life in general. No, I'm not depressed, I'm not failing school or anything (instead, I'm coming first in computer studies in my school). I've just lately been tired and demotivated, that's why I haven't added some new features lately.

With the new dedicated server, our traffic dropped slightly (DNS issue), and that started creeping some thoughts in my head. Our traffic mainly relies on RuneScape, and what if RuneScape completely dies, we lose a majority of our community. I've been rethinking Rune Gear and it's whole perspective. I want to refurbish this old babe, make it something new, something cool, something more powerful than ever. We may be cool and we may be new, but we still have the ability to steer the pathway Rune Gear takes.

I'm not thinking of completely removing RuneScape from the forum, but maybe just adding some other features to attract gamers of all sorts to this forum. That may not be possible, but we can still definitely try. Rune Gear is a powerful community, dedicated. Even though we may not be able to change it's topic, we can change the way the topic is handled in this forum.

I want users who want to see Rune Gear succeed, to post suggestions here. Thank you.

I was thinking of this the other day. I was really thinking about how this forum is going to become big. Like, Runescape isn't that popular and we need other sections and other things so new people will join and have a place to be.

So, you can expect some suggestions by me in the next few days hopefully.

That's saddening to hear, however you could if you wanted to expand like you said Open up a series of Gaming Forums with each individual forum, For example GamingGear or etc..

and similar to the tab's that we have now for runescape general etc, have that inplace, or we could have subdomains similar to zybez.net with the Full Front page etc for each game that we support.


Just keep your head high and I'm sure together as a community we can expand and grow positively.

The Elite, you own one of the best forum ever. If anything is happening, you can tell us anytime. You're the greatest administrator. Whatever you do to RuneGear, we're all with you. WHAT EVER YOU DO. Now, what you just said above, we can all do it in a click. I'm with you all the way, through the good and the bad. You're my best friend, which means I won't let anything bad happen, to you or RuneGear. We will help you.

I know of a great idea.

Host Call of Duty 4 Leagues, say winner gets $100 or something. Of course we have to raise the money first.. I could easily advertise and such.

I do agree with automatic coding. Things get boring, then the next thing you know you are right back to being addicted to it.
You'll be motivated again, I mean you can't expect to be motivated every single day...

No one plays CoD4 on PC legit anymore, everyone hacks. It's all about CS:S now-er-days, but still, most players are hackers.
