I've reviewed all 21 registrations today to find that 10 of them were spam bots. I've reviewed traffic and such and have come to the conclusion that I must ban multiple countries.

I've currently firewalled the Netherlands and Russia, soon China and possibly France. These are only a few to come, as spam bots change, I will have to review whether these countries benefit Rune Gear or disadvantage them.

Not many people that are from those countries would be interested in what we offer, I think you made the right decision.

Considering most members are from the UK, USA, or CA, that shouldn't really affect anyone. Nice job man.

That is probally what they were going for too. I didn't think we'd ever have country blocks here

I know a few people from the Netherlands who visit Runescape discussion boards. Nonetheless, whatever you feel is necessary.

Well, his block failed anyways, since I am from the netherlands and I can browse freely through the forums without a proxy.

I believe he just blocked ip ranges of data centers in the Netherlands
