Ever heard of junk post and warn? Don't close a contest that lasted weeks because a few people flamed. Multiple people did this contest for the rewards, and you closed it and wasted all of their time. You promised giving rewards then after weeks passed you changed your mind. Sounds like a scam.
You should of ended it early and gave the rewards, if you're getting more activity then give mod positions to more to help moderate.

At the end of the day, you cancelled a contest when it had been going on for over a week, and people were excited and tried to get up there, and you closed it with no reward.

I wish people were excited. 2 days into the contest, we dropped to 600 posts /day, a smaller amount than when there was NO contest.
