I think we may have finally conquered our spambot issues. They can still register, but they will not be able to spam anymore. We've implemented the following:
Blocking of major VPN providers.
Blocking of inappropriate email providers.
No links in posts until 20 posts.
No links in signature until 20 posts.
No website link in profile until 20 posts.
Registration questions have also improved.
Spambots may be able to register, but without posting they are ineffective and useless, so we've addressed the issue and hopefully it'll be successful. Thanks for the support in this ongoing and hopefully ended battle with spammers.
