Rune Gear is now holding it's Forum Wide Competition in celebration of the upcoming new Web Site and Premium Membership.

This contest will run to the end of July, Winners being announced shortly after.To celebrate, we are giving a total of 200M RSGP for doing barely anything! This is a showcase to upcoming members just how much we appreciate their presence on the forum.

The Contest;
The contest is simple, you must create a guide for RuneScape, using your favorite movie editing program. Then upload it to youtube using the tags and description which will be provided below.

Your Guide will be judged on;
  • Effects
  • Informative Value
  • How well explained the guide is
  • and more.
Rules;
  • The Video Must be longer then 1 Minute in Length, as we think that this provides the minimum amount of time to make a high quality guide.
  • The guide must be uploaded with our tags and description that will be provided below.
  • You must post a link to your RuneScape Guide in this thread for it to be entered into the competition.
  • Any plagiarised guides will result in termination of your entry for the contest and may effect your ability to enter future contests.
  • Working together would be fine but all of you would have to post confirming that you would like to split the money with each other.

If there are not enough entries by the deadline the contest will have no winner.

Because that doesn't make sense.. He could make a new award such as 'competition winner' but why would they give out swagger?

Hmm.. you do know how long an actual detailed guide to play runescape would be, right?

Oh, I thought it meant a guide to basically playing and knowing everything about runescape.

I'd participate because it's free money but, I'm a bitch when it comes to editting clips and i don't want to team up with anyone and split the money.

Or solo work only, but teaming up would make it easier, not too many shitty videos to watch. Anyway up to the staff but teaming up would make it easier for everyone.

I suck at making any type of videos, besides gaming lets plays, but I barely know how to edit decently. Good luck to all.
