Marketforums is finally ready to take part in a forum lottery thanks to Crayo's recent reenlistment of the points system. To view a thread providing more information and background information on this topic please visit http://marketforums.org/Thread-Be-in-the-loop (if you cannot access the thread then maybe it's time you upgrade). This contest will be held twice a week (72 hours each) and will consist of you buying a ticket and having a chance to win.

Each ticket/chance to win will cost 100 points (you're allowed to buy as many tickets as you wish) which you can send to user Pot. At the end of the period all the entries will be organized and a random generator will choose a random winner from the contestant list.

Note that for this first lottery you are able to enter as many times as you want to increase your chances of winning the entire pot. Every week I will also try to get other donations such as RSGP or point donations from other members to increase the pot.

Notes: This contest has been approved by many premium members along with Crayo. This operation is also in a BETA phase so please give me a few weeks to sort out all bugs. If you wish to get more points then please visit this thread: http://marketforums.org/Thread-BETA-Buy-Forum-Points-Automatically Also, remember that just because you have 2k points does mean you need to spend all your points on the tickets; instead you can donate spare points to increase the pot and let other members win more. Summarization:
This is a draw to win a pot full of MF points. Each ticket will give you one chance to win and will cost 100 points (purchase as many tickets as you like). Contest ends mid-day Wednesday. To enter follow all you have to do is "Donate" as many points as you like to the user Pot, each 100 points will equal 1 ticket and 1 chance to win the entire pot.

No need to PM him after. After donating the receiver automatically gets a PM with a reason. Great competition, this will be epic.

It'll be more official after the first few, IE free stickied threads, announcements on the index etc.

Okay, I'll delete that PM part. Yeah it would be great if these threads got free sticky. Also I want to post the winner in the announcements section but sadly on staff can post there
 

The second step isn't really needed, just add the number of tickets to the reason of the donation and Pot will receive that.
 
For the 4 people (not including Crayo's 5 point donation ) that did buy tickets Crayo and I are currently looking into the issue and we'll soon have it fixed and you'll get a reimbursement to re-buy.
 
Right now only two users bought tickets.
Zammy bought 7 tickets while exy bought 10. Also, thank you to Crayo who donated 5k to the pot!!!
