I am an old schooler, and I see pure as having your HP (constitution) level over your combat level. Some SW product who's 70 99 1 with 99 range & mage, but has 78 hp and like 90 combat wouldn't be pure. but a 60 99 1 with 89 hp and 72 combat would be.
