Anyway to Block a Phonenumber?

I need to block a number from my house phone because they are going to call and tell my parents something which they should not find out. How can it be done. I've tried *60 and it doesn't work.

The only way is to call your phone service provider and make up some story how they are harassing you or something of that nature.

Your title is fairly misleading.

Anyways I suggest you call your provider and tell them someone is frequently calling you and harassing you and you want to block them from calling you. Works well.
