Anyone Think RG Deteriorating?

All the HQ users are leaving.
I'm thinking about it... But I really want to stay too.

Alright please don't flame me, and I'm just giving my opinion though but...
1) People are trying to troll wayyy too much.
I'm not talking about the funny haha Automatic Coding style trolling.
I'm talking about "that comment was retarded and you just totally made me want to punch you".
2) All the HQ people left. I'm talking about the people who used to actually CONTRIBUTE, such as people who actually dumped auths, tried to post new tuts, guides, etc.
3) The marketplace is a mess.
There're a lot more scammers coming in, and a lot of people who are just fucking trolling the marketplace. They try and sell shit and then you try and give advice and they're like "I don't fucking give a shit". And you're trying to HELP.
4) WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE HIGH QUALITY DISCUSSIONS?
THE LAUGHS?
THE FUNNIES?
THE HUMOR?
THE FAWESOME THREADS?
THE INTENSE DISCUSSIONS?
... They're naught but memories now.

I agree, I haven't been here long enough to see the whole situation but I see loads of trolling etc.

This happened to HF too, but at an earlier times.
This is why people started making PRIVATE forums.
Too bad HRS became public, I was starting to enjoy the HQ'ness of it.
Now I finally understand that people don't make forums private cuz their faggots.

There're a lot of forums that have fallen under siege by this.
We need to clean out the forum or be cleaned out...
HF is still active but you know how much more quality their forum was?
They used to have stuff EVERYWHERE. Now its like 70% leechers, and then when you release something it always gets leaked without credits and shit like that.
And it's fucking up the entire balance here too.
I think that we might want to remove the RuneScape section from going here from HF, it brings traffic but like 80% is LQ traffic >_>.

Being here since the site opened, yes, it is deteriorating and yes HQ members are leaving, but it depends on what you class as HQ.

1. The only people who troll are AC,justin, and carbon.
2. They didn't leave because the "quality" they left because most of them were older and maturer and now have to start their lifes. ex pedo steezy crystul etc
3. Haven't seen any trolling in the marketplace, and there is like 1 valid scam every 2 weeks, I'd say were doing pretty good in that section.
4. Just a bunch of drama atm with a certain member coming back and certain members whining about it.\

I think your blowing this a little out of proportion

And I can't prove the HQ members "left", but most of them are mainly inactive, just looking around, not really contributing anymore, because they've given up.

A little bit maybe, but The Elite needs to run some campaigns to get the HQ'ness of this forum up. The RSGP competitions are fine, but it also brings in spammers...
And its not the kinda trolling like simple trolling.
Its just people that get you pissed off because of their retardedness and whining.
Like if you try and help them because their thing isn't selling and you give em a tip and they're like "k go away" and shit like that.

On second thought I think I am overreacting a little bit.. :anxious:

The forum is what you make of it. When people just constantly fight and complain about insignificant things how do you think that is going to make them and the forum better? I'm not saying it is or isn't deteriorating, but I look at it like this, people come and go, be they high quality or low quality. As good and fun as this site is you have to face the facts that Runescape and forums isn't something many people plan to do for their whole lives. Things happen that stray them away.

I personally grow tired of seeing the constant disagreements of members turn into wildly outlandish flaming and harassment, but it will always be there, sometimes showing up more than usual. A community makes a forum good. When the community fights and flames constantly then forum activities and general enjoyment of posting goes down. @[The Elite] does all he can to make being registered and posting here an enjoyable experience, but too many people take it for granted with their fighting and complaining. This forum may have had its better days in terms of the amount and quality of members, but then again you have to realize, for a majority of people, it is summer.

In respect to the fighting, flaming, and complaining, people just need to calm down. You don't have to like or get along with a member, but you should always respect them enough and have the decency / maturity to stay out of a fight with them.
