Im just wondering, ive been curious to how many users are joining the military. I will be joining the marines. Enlisting when my junior year is completed. I want my MOS (Military Occupational Specialty) to be military police and communications. My brother left for the marines a month ago as well. He won a 3 minute call yesterday and he said hes been sick with pneumonia and they're still working him out the same. They gave him a prescription. Anyways.... whos joining the military? If so, what branch? And MOS?

I mean I personally want to join the department of homeland security. My dream job would be in the
marine corps but I know im nowhere near as educated and healthy enough. plus im only 14 atm.

I probably will, I am to far behind in school to get my diploma. (I got 150 days total of OSS (out of school suspension) since my 7th grade year. And that set me back a lot. I'm not a retard I know what I'm going its just I am so far behind that I don't see graduating as an option. I will join the Marines and will be a soldier. Whatever job goes out and fights are enemies I will do it. Hope your brother gets better and stays safe.

Its ok if you are only 14 thats 3 or 4 years to get in shape if you want to go in right out of high school. Don't be discouraged. @Boltage good luck bro

Thanks man. Also, you better hope that suspension isnt on a record of any sort. They search every little thing up about you since you were born. They give a full length background check and check your criminal record.

@Boltage So are you going to be having to go through all the testing to be a marine like normal
or is it (no offense) easier since you're not doing a super gun heavy kind of position.

Dont get me wrong, communications is fucking ESSENTIAL.

It won't I never have been arrested. And it should go away when I turn 18. Since this happened when I was a juvenile.

I'm pretty sure they train you just as hard in pretty much every job position. Just some push you a lot harder then others (Navy seals)

Everyone goes through the same training, then after that they learn about there jobs and thats when it changes.

Military police will be hard as fuck. I need 2 MOS's. Yes everyone does the same testing during boot camp. After that is when you go to classes for your mos

I was thinking about the National Guard, then going to to college. I haven't done any research whatsoever, so I might be wrong. But, I plan on joining, going to college, then pursuing my ideal career instead of going to war, or whatever. I just want the reapect/title that comes with it, but if I have to go to base or training for a few months each, I wouldn't mind.

Not all are the same. To be a Navy seal or a sniper the training is 10x harder then normal because you have to be extremely fit to be a Navy seal and a sniper you need yo be extremely talented in reading wind gusts, be patient and a lot of other things.

I'm sorry i didn't make myself clear, it is all the same at first then from there after you pick your job the training changes. For each branch it is different of course but then the jobs after that change it even more.

Hes talking about every branch. Every marine does the same through boot camp. Every seal does the same training through boot camp.
