Anyone had a gum infection?

I got one where my wisdom teeth are, it's very common and it's painful as fuck, half my face/jaw is swollen.

I'm prescribed 2 sets of anti biotics which i nee to take 6 times a day, im also taking 6 nurofen plus 6 times a day which dells the pain a little, but it's extremely hard to sleep.

anyone else had any kind of tooth infection and has a good way of dwelling the pain?
 
No, but I have had painful shit near my head and it didn't really hurt when sleeping? You should try and invest in a softer pillow.

yes i had one on my bottom right mouler. swollen up like a hoes vag after a long friday night,

all i did was this, and it works, get luke warm water, and salt, make luke warm salt water. then swish it around your mouth for 20 seconds etc etc, repeat this before you go to bed and when you wake up, brings the swelling down ALOT, and fast.
 

I read that the other day and didn't bother, and tried about 90 mins ago and seemed to work weel so i will continue to do this

and also my infection is exactly where yours is, and i have footy 9am tomorrow morning, it's now 9:30pm.

yeh its annoying as hell ey?

but yeh, the salt water method works SO GOOD, the doctor even told me to do that and come back in a week. i did it, 3 days later it was gone.

Yeh i've had shit all sleep lately, I'm taking 12 pills a day, doped up
 
I had something like that, it was horrible man.. Get better soon
 
I've had something similar to this, the tooth that above right next to it had to be removed, which hurt lots.
