Anyone else here a prepper? Been watching the news and reading up on politics a lot, and i think something big might happen sometime soon. By big i mean like, destruction of infrastructure, i.e. a natural disaster, a war, anything of that calibur.

So far im looking into AR-15s and AK-47s, having trouble picking one type, but my first gun is going to be one of those two. Leaning towards an AK.

Anyone else preparing for this? Also i'm getting a little sick of the corrupt politics and whatnot that our representatives in the government seem to perpetuate with their lying to get into, and stay in office, and their unnecessary spending, and passing bills like the NDAA, or should i say, adding provisions to it to allow for indefinite detention of US citizens. Thinking of joining the agora project or something like that.

Anyone else out there in the same boat?

Word. You have any sort of food or any other supplies stocked up? Also, mind if i ask how much your guns were?

Winchester was a gift and Makorav was 280$

I have 1500-1600 9x18 and around 250 12g 2 3/4 #00 Buck
I don't have much food stocked, kinda broke.

Me too, my price range for guns is around $300-$500 and sadly its hard to get a decent tactical rifle for that amount of money. Might just start off with a shotgun, or a bolt-action/semi auto rifle.

Any feeling on the second part of the OP?

Honestly I think the economy is going to go to shit, and people are going to riot when stores don't have food 24/7.

Nuclear terrorism is up there to, 1-22 nuclear attacks on large cities taking out major power/shipping/communications.

I agree with both of those, but if there is any kind of nuclear war im fucked. I live right next to the shipyard in virginia, and the naval weapons station. Two relatively strategic targets which i would certainly be in the zone full of dead people around any nuclear bombs.

But if i did survive i plan to be prepared haha. I don't know what to do about any sort of political things i have problems with. Im really big on democracy, but the stupidity of the average american pisses me off. People keep saying to get rid of the electoral college but im a fan of it, it keeps the stupid people from making stupid decisions.

A direct democracy of intelligent people would be ideal, haha what a pipe dream.

USA will nuclear bomb the rag heads which in turn has a chemical reaction with the kind men of nigeria which turns them into flesh eating zombies who start eating white men due to them having no rice because the bomb destroyed there food supply, all the lower class citizens have to move to iceland to survive while the kremlin flys to another planet with 20 of the finest bitches which he will put into breeding.

No but seriously i do think a big shit will happen either due to over population or something like a nuclear disaster, arm yourselfs fellow men.

Second part sounds about right to me, mate.

Damn!

It seems you guys are preparing for some kind of zombie apocalypse! I swear, this is Zombie Land all over again. You know what we should do? We should start a group here on RG of people who own or can get their hands on some badass-looking guns. Then, when the world goes into total shit-storm, we should meet up in DC and take over the White House. We can kick Obama's ass outta there and hold that as a HQ. Any able-bodied man willing to join us will be taken under our wing and offered protection under the exception that he must fight when we need him to. Once we are the last non-cannibal freaks in the world, we set out and make a new country. Anyone up for this?

Hahaha im down. Its more like preparing for an economic collapse and martial law, but you got the basic idea.

possibly a riot, like before, nothing else

Yeah something to that affect, only i'm thinking more of like, economic decline to the point where people can't get basic needs.

The system of food delivery is so fragile it could break at any time. Most products reach the store hours before they are purchased, and this is a flawed system.

Hard to visualize where I live, things here are still good, except for a few job losses.
