So I got my exams coming up, and revision is hella boring..

I tend to do like 2 hours a day but the same old, writing out shit on paper or microsoft word.

Anyone have creative ways of revision which actually sticks in your mind?

While you are revising, chew gum, then near or in the test, eat the same flavored gum. It helps stimulate your memory.

I haven't tried it sweets, but whatever you have, it must be the same flavor.

Learn it the first time. Read through notes if need be. Never had to study in school, shit was easy.

What way do you learn the best? Meaning by listening, seeing, actually doing it, etc.

Um, watching/listening IVE never tried properly.

All I do is do studies like analyse a print advert for media..

Ok, example. I'm an auditory learner, I hear it, I know it. So if I've got an ass load of notes to study, I'm getting the microphone and recordig software out and reading off my notes so I csn listen to them because it works better for me than reading them. That and I can do other shit while I study but that's a little beside the point.

Quick psychology tip. After studying, dip your arm or large part of your body into a bucket of ice. Something that will really sting. You'll remember that moment and the events that led up to it (the studying) very well.

Chewing gum while you study/take youe test will do the same thing and is much more convienent that taking a bucket of ice water to class to jog your memory.

Chewing gum will not work if you often chew gum, which is often the case. Ice is a lot more powerful psychologically. Don't even try to argue with me about this.

True for people who chew the same flavor of gum all the time. For those people, I would suggest getting a different flavor to chew when you are studying/taking a test. Am I wrong?

Flavor of gum isn't gonna be remotely strong enough to engrave a memory into your mind.

Why not? Its the same concept? Suppose the flavor of gum is absolutely revolting.
