I'm trying to design a Minecraft server and have no idea how to do it .... I can get about as far as setting up a basic free build server, were you have 9 blocks of unlimited material to build with. I want to move into owning a survival server were players collect their own resources. If anyone could help me create a server add my msn

I think you need hamanchi or something like that then look on youtube how to do it. My buddy made one but we cant figure out how to get on it.

I can make one for you if you ever need it. I run a fairly large bukkit one at the moment.
