Yes, buy it. Played yesterday with my friends on skype. It was funny and scary at the same time.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is one of the best games I've ever played.
When I played for the first time I was really freaked out, but after getting to a certain part, I decided to speed run to conserve resources,
and it works out pretty well.
You'll have fun watching some videos online about some people and their reaction or playing it for the first time ever.
Definitely worth the buy, go for it!!

I don't know why people consider it to be scary. I mean, it the game is meant to scare you but I don't find it scary. -.-

The hype about it makes it scary! Although when people were like "Omg the water part" the water part isn't even that scary. There have been scarier parts

Never heard of it, I'll have to look into it a bit. Have you ever played a trial version or something?
