THE WAR
The war was started as a way to get back at the terrorists for 9/11.
One problem: All the terrorists directly involved in the attack died in their suicide bombing on the World Trade Center. So, we invaded Afghanistan to fight off the Taliban & Al Qaeda because we couldn't actually re-kill the suicide bombers and felt like we should try to kill other terrorists instead. Well, in 2003, Khalid Sheik Mohammad, the 9/11 mastermind, was caught by US troops: http://articles.cnn.com/2003-03-01/...abdul-qadoos-pakistan-officials?_s=PM:asiapcf
War over, right? Wrong.
We get faulty intelligence that Saddam Hussein has some serious WMD stockpile and for some reason we need to go kick his ass. Bush admitted it was bullshit intelligence later and that no WMDs were ever found:

And, just recently, the Iraqi defector who gave us that intelligence admitted he made the whole thing up simply because he hated Saddam: http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/iraqi-defe...d=12922213
Osama bin Laden has never had anything to do with any attacks ever. He was a financial guy for a few contractors who became involved in Al Qaeda years later.

Why the fuck did we ever go to war? Why the fuck are we still there?
THE SOLDIERS
This is a video of American soldiers gunning down innocent Reuters news reporters. One of their children can be seen in the van:

This is a pilot singing Bye Bye Miss American Pie while gunning down a guy in the street:

I think it is clear that American soldiers care very little about the death they deal. From 2003 to 2011, there were 116,121 innocent civilian deaths caused by the US occupation in Iraq alone.
