Is the refund method still the same as it was a couple of years ago?

You say that you got the package but there was nothing in there / or it was opened and the item was missing?

If not, please PM me and inform me.

I believe they made it harder but I could be wrong, I'd talk to someone who knows what they're doing.

Try the empty box method.
Say you got a box with nothing & show a photo with a box

Or get a box, beat the life out of it & say the item came broken

The second part of what @Robert22 is correct. Just beat the hell out of it then tell them it broke. If you say it got stolen or something like that they won't do anything.

Wouldn't they just ask for the broken watch back though? In exchange for a refund or another watch?

That is also what I am wondering. A smart company would at least want proof there is something wrong or missing.

What box? You never received anything?

Amazon updated their policy, its still possible..

if it's sold and shipped by amazon then it should work. Say you never received the package.

make up a story like it was stolen off of your door step while volunteering at your local food bank

What I used to say was that the package arrived, but it was empty when I opened it. Would that work? Or how about saying I got the package but it was ripped open and everything was missing besides some bubble wrap?

Say it was empty when it arrived. that sounds more believable.

if you live in a house then go with stolen off your doorstep, but it's really up to you.

Yeah I live in a house

Have you refunded any items lately? I heard Amazon updated their policies a while ago but I'm not 100% sure if that would make it so that my old excuses wouldn't work
