AIM problem

When I go onto my AIM and I get a message from someone, I respond to them but it doesn't go through to them. When I sign out and sign back in it says that I never sent the messages. Anyone know how to fix this? Its really annoying.

Yeah I tried it with 3 different people. I don't think they could send me messages if they had me blocked.
