Advice (mining)

So, I'm trying to get from 87-99 mining from today (Sunday) to Saturday. Is this possible? If so, what should I train on? I will not be powermining as i need money for other skills, I'm lvl 49 combat.
Post some advice please
ALSO, if anyone has a dragon pickaxe that they could lend me for 24 hrs, that would help a lot.

I am level 86 Mining and I think I worked out that I needed to bot for 9 days straight to hit 99, lol. This was mining Gold in the LRC and I was banking all of the ores.

At 86, I would need to mine 145k Gold Ore.

I was averaging about 600 Gold Ore/h.

145,000/600 = 241.6
241.6/24 = 10

So that is 10 days of botting, but then again, as you level up, your gold/h increases and the experience becomes better. This was just a rough estimate for you to go off of =)..

Yep.

But like I said, the amount of gold per hour would increase as you level up. So it may take it down to just under 9 days of botting, maybe a little bit more.

Hm.. So overall it could take me up to like 2 1/2 weeks if i bot like 8-12 hours a day.. Ouch :\

 

[Reality]

Get 15 dungeoneering then go underground in dwarven mine and go to the resource center or something down there

get about 181,243 coal and use the bank deposit underground

or what you could do is get 45 dungeoneering if u have, and use mining guild resource dungeon, somethin like 8 mithril, 5 adamant, and 3 runite or somethin like that. Not sure how well this works but it sounds good.

I have 45 dungeon, its terrible xp and there's already plenty of botters taking out the rune ore
