Active or Staff?

So do you think the people on this forum are only active atm because they heard if they are HQ and active they might get staff? But of course, those people won't admit why they are active. Then you got the people who do think other people just want staff, then they won't say it because they want staff too.

Confusin yah?
 
People want staff and 500m. There are also the HQ members who could care less about staff and 500m.

You don't need to be active for the "500M" (which really isn't 500M). I just know how it is because I use to act like that a couple years ago. You see that there is a new forum then your like hey, let's try to get staff then you don't and be like, ok I will go back to HF.

Same thing works for RSPS. People will only join and play and ass kiss to try to get mod/admin on the RSPS. It is human nature for people to want to have authority over others.
 

Yep, I hate those people. Or sometimes when I have to demote someone on my forums or servers they get pissed off and leave right away. It just shows that they never really cared about the community and they only cared about their rank.
 
My forum I was last apart of got hacked and shut down, So I'm just looking for a new one, and Rune revolution looks like a good choice.
 
I'm home sick, so this is the only thing occupying my time at the moment, and I feel like talking about runescape, but the HF runescape section is boring and full of trolls.
 
It could go anyway, I think some are just here for the 500M infact, a lot of them are. needless to say the forum is getting along great. HQ or not.
 
For me this forum fills a void that the RS section at the other site doesn't and never will.

People over there get waayy to egotistical, it's impossible to uphold a HQ thread, which diminishes the community, I preferred that site when RS related discussions were banned.

Couldn't care less about the 500m thing, and I'm not actively taking part, as I said over there, I will refer members in preference of quality over quantity. Also if the phishing thing (they actual reward) is any good I'd prefer that over 500m.

It's also human nature to want to excel and do things well.
^ And rhyme it seems.

So, a few of the member might have come here for the 500m/staff thing, but that helps in building the member base, which is obviously why it was mentioned. After that has been dealt with your left with a good size member base that the forum can grow from, and as said above, the place isn't doing too bad right now.
 
Not really intrested in staff(yet, lol who knows for later), and idc about RSGP.

Just for having nice conversations with other hackers.

The question is though, do you think members are just being active to get staff positions, and once it's fulfilled, they will leave? or do you think that they will stick around and don't care if they get picked as a staff member or not.
 
In all honesty I have just been looking to find a good RS blackhat forum. If they asked me to become staff here I would most likely turn it down. In my opinion it is to much work. Not because I don't like the community. I just don't think I would be good at staff because I can't be on very much due to other activities.

I see where you are coming from. If you want to be put into a higher up position, you will have to put forward a lot more work. Some don't realize that. Glad you are here to keep this forum active.
 
There are people with 100+ posts per day. That's not activity, that is post whoring.

I have alot of spare time at work, It's activity on my end.
 

Then you need to broaden your horizon. I am active on around 4 forums.
 
TBH staff is always an option for everyone. Everyone wants to be apart of the staff, and help raise a good community. But I'm sure Judgement wont pick everyone who comes here for 3 days and just posts. I'm here, yes, to be active, and help the community, staff or no staff position. I love to buy and sell, and found a new site to try and be one of the trusted users here cause PB and Sythe are just a big pack of scammers, and people who criticise you.
 
Honestly I would post way more if I had the time. I don't care if you call me a post whore... That just means I am giving more to the community than you, unless of course I'm spamming, trolling, or just posting useless things.
