Account recovery

I sold an account to someone few months ago, as I don't play RS anymore. I'm the original owner, but I created the account with someone else and used to share with him. Apparently the user messaged me couple days ago that the account has been locked for a while and he never played on it, I tried recovering, but they keep declining it. I have all the right information, but they keep denying it.

The account did get unlocked, (He pm'd me saying it did + on account recovery it doesn't say it's locked), however I don't understand how. The user that knew information about it was me, and the guy I sold it to. The original guy I used to share the account with only knew some of it, not a lot..

Now I have no idea how to get it back, I even contacted their e-mail, but so far no reply. Any ideas?

Your doing something wrong. Try changing stuff up on your recovery attempts.

When recovering your account make sure you use 3 of the first passwords you can think of. It's always best to use the earliest passwords because having the first two passwords for an account you made like 3 years ago is a lot more significant then using the last 3 passwords you made. Also, if you are using the same ISP and computer as when you made the account you should get it back pretty easily.

And, if you know the very first recovery questions you made, put them in the recovery answers section because it still records previous recovery questions and the earlier the better. I wish you luck on getting your account back buddy.

Actually for the recovery questions, they weren't really mine. They were set by the guy I sold account, I just put I don't recognize these. I am indeed using the same ISP, and I told the user what the ISP was, but it's still an issue. I don't have the first three passwords, but I had the first password, and the other ones were in-between.

I don't even understand how the account got locked unless he told someone on RS that he bought the acc, and the user reported it?
