It's hella hard to get a job up here in Washington. I don't know about other places.

Good luck yourself!

Yeah it's very hard here. I've only worked two jobs, 7.75$ an hour. They were shitty jobs but I got hours.
I'm done working with that shit I want to find a decent 13$ an hour job. It's hard as fuck here, I've even resorted to
applying at pizza places as a delivery boy. Life's hard as fuck after highschool. Hasn't even been a year yet.

True statement man. Minimum wage is horrible where you live. Washington states is 9.03/h

Holy shit, that's crazy.
The good thing about here where I live in Tennessee is that other things are cheap.
Like decent apartments for 350% a month and cheap car payments and loan payments around here.

350$? Thats insane. We are in a "decent" 3 bedroom duplex for 1450$ right now. It's not even very nice D:

Wow, I could never afford that.
That much here, is like payments on a nice brick house with like maybe a garage or some shit.

It is slightly spendy. I plan on moving to Colorado when I turn of legal age. Not only is it cheap down there, there are a lot of nice job opportunities available. Or so I'm told.

Personally, I want to open up a shop. I'm already ASE certified in all areas and Valvoline Lube Tech Certified as well. I'd simply need to pass the ASE tests in the shop and get a loan.

Sounds less hard then it will be I suppose :/

I wanna move to US but guess the jobs are hard to come by, how is the construction industry?

Don't let people fool you. After getting your journey mans card, it is still extremely hard to get work unless you know people. I've got people struggling that had work a few years back that are now on welfare :/. Sad really considering construction use to be such a good trade to fall on.

Whats a journey mans card? and is it expected to pick up in the next 5 years? because it's booming where Im from everyone has work in the construction industry

I reckon after highschool I'll be looking for a house/aparment to rent with a few TRUSTWORTHY mates that'll actually pay their side of the bills.

To work in a trade, you must get a journey's man card.
It's a 5 year apprenticeship to a master, and you start at 50% wage. Each year your wage increases 10%, then on the fifth year you're at full wage. Then on the 6th year, you can get an actual job in the industry.
