Ability to close your threads - Upgraded Users

I think it would be better if you could close your own threads if you are an upgraded member. It's much easier than having to PM a moderator to do it for you.
 
It's not too urgent though. Other things shound be impelemented before this one. (In my opinion.)
 
Plugin doesn't work as it is for MyBB 1.6.x, and I don't think the elite codes?
 
You can take your time doing it, it's not really something major. It's just something that would be nice to have, that's all.

I have released a plugin that you (The Elite) can use if you want: http://mods.mybb.com/view/open-close-threads

I have just updated it so you'll have to wait until it's approved to be able to download it.

You can allow certain groups to close their own threads and even re-open them if you wish. It's very similar to Labrocca's (button added next to new reply button if allowed to see close/open threads).

Hum, you pointed out something I forgot. When a usergroup is allowed to re-open a closed thread, it is able to open it even if it wasn't closed by OP (in other words, if staff close your thread, you can re-open it) which isn't good.

I'll update it, when I get it a chance to, so you can only open the self closed threads.
 
I agree with this for supporters, but not the elite. Lol.
If you need it closed, staff gets to it pretty quick.
