A Thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hussiene

this is a beautiful Novel By Khaled Hussiene about the life in Afghanistan during the Russian Invasion and the Taliban. Mariam and Laila are the two main characters in this book that belong to the two different generations. It tells the tales of the death of the innocent,the life of the women,,the brutality,the compromises,the suffocation,the tears and the grieves of the Afghans.

I had to read this book for school a few years ago and I thought it was really good. It had such a great story and it was a lot better than I expected it to be.
