There's this one weird question that I ask myself every single day. Why do we wear the stuff we wear today?

Like
  • Snapbacks in General (means any kind)
  • Jordan's
  • Polo
  • Sweaters that say "Runnin' Shit Since '93".
  • Converse Shoes
  • Geek Glasses
  • Jack Martin Glasses
  • Supreme Product
  • OBEY Product


And then adding the new school with the old school.


This is what I came up with. We the people who wear this dope shit, would like to know what the people wore in the '90's or the '70's. That's what I've always thought. And we people like to add our own swag with the new school and the old school. Is what I like to do commonly. I have 120 pair of jordan's. That's basically all I wear. So tell me what do you think about this Topic and Thread. And If you do the same, reply!​

Did you mean to say you have an $120 pair of Jordans? Because otherwise you are insane.
 
I don't wear any of those besides Converse. I know not to judge a book by it's cover, but you can almost always tell what type of person that person is if they were those type of cloths.
 
 
One thing I wonder to myself is why is everything called what it is? What if a pencil was called a condom? or a penis called a Taco?

I like Jordans. Not the only type of shoe I like though. I like Lebrons, foams, Kobes, Durants, etc I love snapbacks too. OBEY has some pretty dope stuff as well.
 
People wear jordans for the bitches, and/or people wear it for the style and the way it was designed/used. They are VERY useful for basketball hands down.

yea. I usually just buy Jordan SC-2 Flights and Jordan Flight 23's. I Like Jordan Retro-7. There nice in gray.

I agree. Not to judge people just by what they wear. But the people that wear these clothing are normally "Swag Fags" and think there all cool and hard. Or trying to fit in with the mainstream style. Alot of people like this shit just because they think its "cool" or it makes you cool etc.

I am the typical "emo" kid. I have long hair. Wear skinny's or tighter clothing. I have plugs and other piercings. Etc. But atleast im keeping my own type of style going. And i dont wear my shit just to have a "emo" "scene" or "hipster" label. I only wear the stuff i wear and have my hair the way i have my hair is because i feel most comfortable. And its my style.

When i see something becoming the norm. I try to fade away from it. But if its something i like. I dont care who has it or who wears it. Who "copies" me or who i "copy".

What i am trying to say is this is the typical clothing for people that think there cool or trying to be cool.
Get your own style going. It doesnt mean you have to stop wearing that shit. But just fade out of it and or add some of your own shit to it.
Just be yourself and dress for you. No anyone else.

Im not saying you are the typical "Swag Fag" but just thought i should point this out.

I have alot more to say that i left out but its really pointless to spread my mind in a reply, on a forum lmfao.
 
I personally think how the majority of the teens today dress is just a fad, by that I mean wearing shirts that say, Yolo , Swag , Hater etc. The thing that bugs me is the whole wearing fake glasses. I think just wearing a normal pair of jeans, shirt and shoes is good enough.

I honestly don't wear any of that. I used to wear OBEY back when it wasn't popular and just a skate clothing company. Haven't worn anything OBEY related in at least 5 years though. I do however have a hat that has the snap on the back however I didn't know it was when I bought it I personally hat them. I prefer flexfit's. Anyways if that is what you do infact wear my personal thought is that you are trying to fit in way too much.
 
I use to wear Jordan's back in middle school. That was when all them 8th graders came up to me like "OMG, you got the 5's???"

Now, Jordan's are played out unless you're using them to play ball. Usually it's just girls that wear them because they're cheap AF.

I dress more casual now, back then I had like every pair of Jordan... I do wear foams now though...
 

We had a homecoming dance about a week ago, and I wore a black and white suit and rolled up the sleeves, and put on some Retro 11 black and white jordans.


Honestly to tell you the truth, this is who i am. I like to add the old school with the new school. It isn't for anyone to fit in with. I just wear the shit because it looks dope as shit.
