Saturn's the name. So i found a really good and informative mining guide that I think the members of RG will like. (This is not my Guide)

The mining cape is one of the less common skill-capes in Runescape. Before LRC was released there were only a few players who had the patience to get the necessary exp.
3. Pick-axes (regular)
Iron pickaxe LVL 1
Required level: 1
Steel pickaxe:
Required level: 6
Mithril pickaxe:
Required level: 21
Adamant pickaxe:
Required level: 31
Rune pickaxe:
Required level: 41
Dragon pickaxe:
Required level: 61
Allot of people ask if its worth the 10M it costs . And yes it is , it gains you another
5-10k exp/h at LRC and it will still be worth 10M when you have 99 mining so why not ?
3. Let's get training!
Level 1-15:
M1D1 Copper or Tin ore.
You could bank it but its a waste of time ...
Level 15-99 F2p
Keep M1D1 iron till 99 which will take ages so get a 4$ pin and go to LRC at 77 mining...
Best spots: Rimmington,Varrock ...

At LRC are around 1500 ppl and 1000+ people are bots so you can bot close to 24/7 without getting banned. *
15-77 P2P
M1D1 iron till you achieve 77 mining , Now you can go to LRC and make 40k + exp/h .
Best spots: Yanille, Ardougne-east ,Rimmington,Varrock ...
77-80 P2P:
Now you can mine at LRC :
go down with the rope and this will be your map:
Warning: There are monsters at LRC which can kill you! don't bring valuable items except pickaxe! Also put AUTO-RELATE OFF!
Advised worlds for LRC:
84 is the best world but can be full
64,77 are secondary worlds
Now you can mine coal till 80 mining
I advice that you use a dragon pickaxe!
80-99 P2P:
Now you will be able to mine gold ore which makes roughly 200k/h (95mining)
and gets around 45-50k exp/h
I advice that you use a dragon pickaxe!
4. 99 mining finally here!
Congratulation on Ur achievement of 99 mining , i hope this guide helped you getting it.
Now you can get the cape at the entrance of the mining guild at Falador.
The guild master is wearing a mining skill-cape and is a dwarf ...
Now you can keep mining for money since 200k/h is not bad and you can do it around 16-20 hours /day.
