I know this isn't World News, but I thought I would post this here.
A little girl that was 7 years old was hit by a semi just a few hours ago close to where I live.
Police are saying her and another child, 12 years old, were crossing the parkway. The 12 year old made it, but Jasamine did not.
She was taken to the local hospital but was pronounced dead just after 8 p.m. from multiple blunt force injuries.
The parkway will be shutdown for several hours. The 12 year old was not injured.
This accident is still under investigation.
I really feel bad for the parents of this child. She had so much life ahead of her. I couldn't imagine what her family is going through right now..
