Well this is my 555th post. And I'm going to use it as an excuse to tell about me. I've used my red carpet intro and this is telling my story, not of me so it's sorta in the right section xD.:blush:
I was about 8-9 years old when a new kid moved into our town, and introduced to us Runescape.
I puttered around, legitly playing, and soon I figured I loved pking.
At about 10 years old me and my little brother found out about Rsbot. My bro's nickname was Cubs so he made that his Rsbot name. We shared this account, and were basically leechers. After half a year or so my brother quit so I took over the account. I soon joined a service called Lazy Man Services. The owner was Jump Jacob. The service took off and became one of the top services on Rsbot. During this time I also became very good friends with Jump Jacob and we still are today. Jump Jacob became a moderator on Rsbot, and all seemed good. This was a mistake, a few days later Rsbot was taken over by Jagex. Within a few days the staff of Rsbot had come up with a solution. Avalane.org was made and run by Jump Jacob. This site soon had thousands of people who were from the original Rsbot. So let's skip ahead a bit since this is getting pretty long. Avalane was growing and more staff was needed. The staff posted a thread for applications. By this time I was 12, and even stated it in my application. But I had become known on this forum and was well liked, so I was accepted as a moderator(I later on checked, Jump Jacob had nothing to do with it). After a while there were some difficulties and one or more administrators were demoted. This left an opening, which I soon filled and became Administrator.. It was about 3-4 weeks later that a forum was made by Paris or something, I really don't know about that xD. For some reason this forum took over and many of our members left. Our huge forum dwindled into only a handful of loyal people. Jump Jacob tried to keep it open, but in the end it finished and is now closed down.
This left me with nothing really. I was to loyal to Avalane to turn fully to Powerbot, even though I still have an account there.
I needed to start fresh, so after going on Hackforums for once I found a site dedicated to Runescape, and here I am at Runegear. I wanted to start new, and I did. Obviously you know me as Gum and I think that's how I'm going stay, and I hope I stay on this site for a long time.
