How did yours go? I'm from Australia, so we don't celebrate it but I'm kinda interested how yours went.

I went to the beach, Skype'd my friends in England and played Payday 2 with headphones on so I couldn't hear the fireworks outside.
It was a pretty good day.

Are there a ton of fireworks? Because every time I check my IG feed there's a typical photo of fireworks and are they hard to obtain? It's illegal here and apparently can have a 50k fine, I may be wrong I quickly read through it.

Where I live it was thundering and lightening all day. Pretty bummed.

That would've sucked, I'd be bummed too.

It depends where you are. I'm currently in Florida where there's a huge firework show on the beach down the road so people tend not to light their own and just donate towards the huge firework show. In my hometown in Texas, there's a load to like 2 in the morning because there's no firework show.

And no, they're probably the easiest thing in the world to obtain. There's literally a shop in every little district where there are deals with like "10 Fireworks for 10$"

Holy shit, that's insane. I love firework shows though, I find them so entertaining for some reason.

I went up to Pittsburgh which is about an hour away and watched a pretty good set up fireworks. Was packed, though.

The homemade 1/2 pound burgers were so good. O_O

#Yolo.

Its illegal in New York City, but does anybody care?

No. Everybody still has a shitload of fireworks.

My 4th of July was meh, cause I couldn't find any one area that was shooting fireworks consistently.

Mine was pretty good.
Our town has a decent show every year, along with the smaller surrounding towns having meh shows. But it's such a short drive we usually head to each one since they're spaced apart a little bit time wise.

Had the usual cook out/get drunk/get together with family & friends at my house. Neighbors had shit ton of smaller fireworks that we messed around with throughout the day.

Altogether we had a blast!
