3 year tenure account

will that account have the number 3 watermark on the console? because I thought it has to be how many years the account has had live but this ran out in '09 making it a 1/4 year tenure account. I made a couple of accounts in 2003, put a 1 month on and never used again. surely they aren't worth something. please correct me if I'm wrong. cheers. have a good day : )
 

Yes it will have the watermark as soon as you put gold on it.

what if it never has had gold on it will that still show a watermark of so many years? I just found a plain silver which was created in 2002.

it should, my main right now is a one month i created in 2010 and never put gold on it until a month ago and it has the 2 year watermark on it.
 
I just put gold on an account which I made in 02 never used, never has gold and it doesn't have a watermark. I'm just going to try my others which have had gold for a short time so they should have decent tenures.

it has to have had gold to get the watermark.
